Press BIO

Radio Fluke rises from the ashes of your favorite rock band to create a new fusion for the 21st century. Known for their intense musical drive and energetic live performances, Radio Fluke’s eclectic sound is a perfect mix of its four members: Kingston Lindner (guitar, vocals), Caleb Rockenbach (lead guitar), Blake Petersen (drums), and Michael Evans (bass). With tastes ranging from garage, classic, and blues rock; to indie and pop; and even bluegrass, prog, and jam bands, every aspect of the members’ musicality combines into a unique style. This blend of immediate catchiness and thoughtfully handcrafted songs combine into a raw live show that evokes the spirit of Rock and Roll. “Imagine if the Allman Brothers and Foo Fighters had a child, and you’ll get a feel for what Radio Fluke is getting at.” (Michael Mazenko, Westword)

Starting as a garage-made band in the mountains of Colorado, Radio Fluke have become known as staples of the Denver music scene. Lindner and Petersen started playing together during summers off from college, making videos of cover tunes for YouTube. Realizing their musical connection, they recorded their first EP in 2019 the same way they would record the remainder of their work: in their home studio. Finding themselves back in school in Denver, they recruited old high school classmate Michael Evans and new college classmate Caleb Rockenbach, to form a powerhouse 4-piece. In the following months, COVID-19 drove the band into isolation, but that wouldn’t prevent them from recording two more EPs (Devil in LA, Millionaire) and one LP (Before the Night Ends) while the world worked to reopen.

Reuniting in Denver in 2021, the band have been cutting their teeth on the local scene, eventually earning a chance to play at Red Rocks in August of 2024 by winning the Sundown Throwdown battle of the bands. In addition, the lead singles “Blue Light”, “Fade Away”, and “Daydream” come ahead of their latest album “In Between the Hours”, set for release in November 2024. The new album marks their most collaborative, eclectic, and ambitious work to date. With all of its songs being collaborated on by all four members, “In Between the Hours” rewrites the Radio Fluke formula and opens untraveled roads for the band to explore next.
